We are happy to announce that the following choirs will be joining the Vienna Boys Choir and the Kids Philharmonic Orchestra in the grand finale concert at the Esplanade Concert hall on the 15th January concert at 730p.m. These choirs will be performing the last 3 songs for the concert.
Anglo-Chinese School (Independent)
ACS (Independent) Choir has always been an integral part of the ACSian experience since its
founding years ago. Other than exams periods, the choir performs year-round, within as well as
outside of school, exposes people to the beauty of music. The aim of the choir is simple: to inspire
others with their voices.
Catholic High Primary School
The Edward Becharas Choir is an 84-member strong Choir under the leadership and tutelage of renowned choral conductor, Mr Darius Lim. This group of talented choristers attained the Distinction award at the SYF Arts Presentation 2016. The Senior Choir also had the priviledge of performing at the "Voices of Singapore Festival".
CHIJ Katong Primary School
CHIJ Katong Primary Choir was formed in 2001 under the baton of Ms Lim Bee Na. It consists of 100 pupils from Primary 3 to Primary 6 (2016). The choir sings music from all genres including jazz, the blues, gospel music, hymns in Latin, and songs in different languages. The pupils enjoy singing and they look forward to their twice a week practices with great eagerness.
Commonwealth Secondary School
Operating as a full SATB choir, the chorale maintained its standing in the secondary school scene with a Certificate of Distinction at the 2017 Singapore Youth Festival. Its previous engagements include a performance during the 2016 Annual Public Service Leadership Dinner along with SG50 performances in 2015. The chorale is led by Mr Foong Hak Luen, a notable conductor in Singapore.
Fuchun Primary School
Since its inception,the Fuchun Primary School Choir has been achieving choral excellence under the artistic guidance of Ms Lee Wanrong. In more recent years, in the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation in 2014 and 2016, the Fuchun Primary School Choir achieved Certificates of Distinction and excellent reviews from the panel of judges. The Choir has also taken part in the Trinity London College Examinations in 2015 and 2017 (as part of the School's Aesthetics Excellence program) and achieved Certificates of Distinction in both years.

Clementi Primary School
CTP Voices espouses its motto, Voices from the heart, by singing from the heart! Though young in their journey as choristers, each voice is the epitome of pure unadulterated passion for music. Having attained inaugural status for their participation in the ABRSM Choral Singing (Initial) 2016, Voices of Singapore Festival 2017 and SYF Youth HeARTS! Showcase 2017, CTP Voices continue to scale new heights in their choral journey.
Fuchun Primary School
Fuchun Primary School Choir has taken part in many different Choir symposiums, including the NUS Singathon as well as Voices of Singapore more recently in 2016. The choir is also no stranger to public performances. They have performed at the North West CDC Concert for the last 3 years and the biennial Fuchun Primary School Arts Nite concerts held at University Cultural Centre Concert Hall to a full-house crowds.
Wesley Methodist Church
The Sunbeams is a children's choir (4 and 13 years old) founded in January 1975 by Mrs Harriet T Doraisamy. The parents are the church members and they are involved in the running of the choir. Mrs Doraisamy retired in 2008 and Mr Jusuf Kam, the church Music Director, took over the choir from then on. The Sunbeams meets every Saturday afternoon for practices and sings at special Church Services and other special events. The choir is much sought after by both charitable and corporate organisations during Christmas when they are invited to sing carols.
